(Un)Dead Seriously will officially be on winter break starting today. New episodes will be released in January. Stay tuned for bloopers and behind the scenes looks at the making of UDS!

Episode 8.25 is now online!
We have finally decided that we will continue releasing new episodes on Fridays, and we began with episode 8.25, "Whatman? II." Go ahead and check it out at www.undeadseriously.com.
Also, in case you haven't noticed, we've released all episode titles for season 1! We felt that by releasing the titles, it wouldn't give too much away about their plots.
That's all the news for this week!

Comments on Vidoes!
We've recently added a new feature to all of our video pages: you can make comments! Thanks to Google, we've added a small web app that allows anyone with a Google, AOL, or Yahoo username to leave a comment on our site! Most people have a username with at least one of these services, if not all.
If anyone has any issues with the comments app, just email us at webmaster@undeadseriously.com.

And we're back!
Surprise! The mid-season break is now over, and episode 107.5 is now posted!
We're still planning on posting each episode on a bi-weekly basis, but we haven't ironed out a definitive day of the week just yet. At the moment, it looks like Monday's will be the days for new episodes. We'll let you know about definitive air dates in the next week.
In the coming weeks, we will begin casting for a few characters for season 1 and new characters for season 2! If you're interested in acting on the show, send us an email at casting@undeadseriously.com.
That's about it for now. Enjoy the new episode!

UDS Paints the Rock plus More News!
Good Morning,
Also, the characters of Longwood seem to have a Rock of their own at ZU. You can see their videos at www.undeadseriously.com and read more about it on their blog at undeadseriouslycharacters.blogspot.com/.
In terms of the site, we will be making some small changes and updates to the site. The FAQ page has already been changed to a new, more viewer-friendly format. Check it out at www.undeadseriously.com/faq.html. More changes to come.
Other than that, we're recruiting more people for acting, writing, and crew. If you're interested, send an email to recruiting@undeadseriously.com with some info about yourself and what you'd like to do.
Keep an eye out for more updates!

What's up with UDS?
You're all probably wondering what's going on with UDS. Well, here's what's up:
We're on mid-season break until we get back to school and finish filming season 1. Once the new year starts and all of our actors are on campus, we're going to need to cast two new actors. So, after that, we'll start filming the rest of season 1.
You might be wondering when this break will end, but that's a tough question to answer. Our goal is to finish filming the rest of season 1 by mid-December. That means, that new episodes should begin in 2010, at the latest, depending on our shooting schedule. We're not making any promises, but we will try to get episodes up ASAP. Some of the upcoming episodes only have a few scenes left to film, so they may be up sooner. Either way, we'll keep you updated.
While you wait, we're going to be putting the episodes on other video sites, so check those out and raise out views! We already put two more episodes on Youtube. We'll also be posting extras, like bloopers, behind the scenes videos, and more pictures. We're also going to make some updates to the website(s).
So, keep an eye out on the news here for updates!

Episode 105.5 and 106.5
Episode 105.5, "I Hate You, Maria Delaney," is now online!
We apoligize for that one week delay, but to make up for it, we will release 106.5, "Mr. Smith Goes to Longwood," a week ahead of schedule on the 17th! That's right, two episodes in two weeks. Just don't get used to it.
After the release of 106.5, look for air dates for more episodes.
In other news, we've made a few minor changes to the site to make it more compatible with even more browsers. If you're still having problems, email us at webmaster@undeadseriously.com.

Episode Delay and New Air Dates Posted
We have bad news for our viewers.
Due to extenuating circumstances, episode 105.5, "I Hate You, Maria Delaney," will be delayed by one week. We apologize for this delay.
On a more positive note, we've posted the air date for episode 106.5, "Mr. Smith Goes to Longwood." Look forward to a new character in this episode.

Youtube and Vimeo
It's been a while since my last post, but we've been hard at work fixing minor bugs on the site and getting the pilot hosted on a site without ads.
We've ditched Dailymotion (they weren't being very helpful) and Megavideo (because of the ads), and we're going with Vimeo! The pilot is now being hosted on Vimeo, so if you didn't watch it because of the Megavideo ads, go ahead and watch it now.
We're also slowly uploading all of our episodes in parts to Youtube. Although it is an inconvenience to watch in parts, we're hoping that having the videos on Youtube will bring more viewers to our show. We'd prefer that you watch on our site where you can watch the whole episode in one part, but it's your choice.
Stay tuned for the next episode on July 3rd!

Episode 104.5: "We Just Met a Girl Named Maria"
Episode 104.5 is online now! Watch the episode at www.undeadseriously.com!
We've had to brave strong thunderstorms, floods, tornadoes, and power outages to get this episode edited, but we made it! Okay, so maybe there weren't any floods or tornadoes in our location, but we were close. Still, the power outages were certainly an issue. This also marks the first time that one or our episodes was edited across two states (Illinois and Ohio)!

Help Page Added
We've added a Help page to the site! We noticed that a few people have had issues with the site. Hopefully this will fix some of the easier issues. It's a small change, but hopefully everyone will appreciate it. Let us know what you think!

Episode Release Dates Announced and Extras Posted! + minor fixes
Episode 104.5 and 105.5 air dates announced! Episode 104.5 will air on Jun 19th, and Episode 105.5 will air July 3rd. What happened to 102.5 and 103.5, you might ask? Keep an eye on the Sunday Morning Longwood for more info. Episode statuses have been updated as well.
The Episode 1 and 2 bloopers/outtakes/behind the scenes footage will be added soon. We are, however, focusing on editing the actual episode.
Last little announcement is that the entire site now works in Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6 without issues (including www.zom-b-gone.biz [look for more Zom-B-Gone developments this summer]). We don't have access to all browsers and versions, so we don't know if the site works well in all of them. If you find a bug, post a comment or email the webmaster from the Contact page. We'd really appreciate your help.

Episode Pages Updated
The episodes page has been updated with a new episode order and updated statuses. Also, two new episode titles have been released! Go ahead, check it out. www.undeadseriously.com/episodes.html
We've also created new pages for each episode that show the credits, related videos, and any extras associated with the episode. Since only the first two episodes have been released, only the first two episode pages are up. Keep an eye out for more pages (and episodes and extras) in the coming weeks.

Episode 2
Well, we're having some issues with getting episode 2 online. It's done and has been done for several hours now. We've spent the last 5 hours trying to get at least one of the video sites we use to upload the video. The sites all upload the video, then we either just get 17 minutes of black or it just fails to display anything. We are EXTREMELY frustrated with the difficulty of getting our videos online. We're still exploring other possibilities for distributing our videos.
With luck, episode 2 will be online within the next few hours. We'll let you know.

Internet Explorer Issues
We're still having some issues dealing with proper viewing of our site in Internet Explorer versions 5 and 6. We've made some progress, but it still isn't perfect. We're working on it alongside with everything else, which is why it's taking so long, and hopefully we'll have it fixed by the end of next week.
If you use IE 5 or 6 to view our site, we apologize for these issues. We recommend that you instead use any other browser to view our site, including IE 7 or 8, Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari.

P.S. Get ready for episode 2, "Fris-B-Gone." It will be on our site tonight! www.undeadseriously.com

Pilot Problems
Apparently DailyMotion.com is having some issues hosting our pilot video. It's unfortunate because it was the best solution to hosting our pilot. We're temporarily hosting with MegaVideo.com until we can fix the problem. This means that every time you try to play the pilot, you'll get a pop-up ad. Some of those ads are a little racy, but it is our only solution at the moment. We hope this doesn't cause too many problems for you.

Minor Tweaks on the site and Issues with the Pilot video
We made a few minor changes last night and this morning. One of which most of you will never notice, which is a good thing. The other was a problem with the character bios page. For some reason, the page did not upload correctly to our server, and the text went below the black content area at the bottom of the page. The problem, however, has been resolved. Hope no one got too annoyed by the issue.
We're also having some issues with the pilot video being hosted at DailyMotion.com. We've contacted them to resolve the issue. Hopefully it'll be working normally within the next few days.

Character Bios Updated
It's been a late night, but Makoa and I have finally finished typing up the character bios. Go ahead, check them out. I guarantee they'll make you laugh. Of course, I have nothing to back that guarantee with, so you really have no reason to take my word for it. So, just go to the bios page and find out for yourself!
We'll add bios for supporting characters and guest stars when their episodes are about to air.
Enjoy!

UnDeadSeriously.com 2.0 Launched!
Lots of news for tonight:
Well, we've ditched the previous web site design, which according to Makoa looked like a baby designed it. Now, we have an awesome design made by J.D. Bryant, a fellow student at Northwestern. Without him, the site would still look...well...like a baby designed it. The site was put up with relatively little problems, which was quite refreshing for us. We hope you enjoy the new design. A few minor tweaks were done under the hood, so to speak, as well. You probably won't notice them unless you're running IE 5.5 or 6.
We've also added content to the FAQ page. Do you have questions you want answered about the show? Then head over to the FAQ page and read how you can submit your questions to be answered by Makoa and me!
You can now read The Sunday Morning Longwood, a chronicle of the exploits of the zombies of Longwood. Head on over to the blog every Sunday morning for blog posts, vlogs, and more from the characters of the show!
We launched this news blog as it's easier to convey the happenings of the site and show this way. If you follow our Twitter, you'll get a condensed version of this blog.
We've updated the Extras, Contact, and Cast & Crew pages with some new information as well.
Lastly, we will have the Character Bios page up by the end of next week, which happens to be when Episode 2, "Fris-B-Gone," will be posted online!
Hope everyone enjoyed the pilot and trailer!
